Mainair Flying School is the premier microlight training school in the North West. We offer microlight training at its best and pride ourselves on our quality of instruction. Based at Barton Aerodrome (the oldest private aerodrome in the country), we offer training, trial flights and ground school tuition as well as a number of other services.

Microlight flying is on the increase in the UK due to the ever advancing aircraft capabilities and the relatively low running costs. As a result training is much more affordable in comparison to other forms of flying and is much more fun. At Mainair we have steadily grown our fleet of modern aircraft to cater for tuition as well as PPL hire. We also provide ferry flights and test flying, all to the highest standard.
