The elasticated velcro strap allows the kneeboard to be attached securely to your thigh allowing for a stable platform for writing down essential pieces of information throughout flight.
Inside are a number of plastic wallets where key information such as airfield maps, checklists and radio scripts can be stored for use throughout your flight.
