New Radio Telephony Instructor Joins Mainair Team
We are pleased to announce that we have a new Radio Telephony Instructor who has joined the Mainair team.
David Woodward started off at Mainair as a student in 2011 and acquired his NPPL in February 2012 after training throughout the winter period. His keen interest in all aspects of radio and airspace safety led to David acquiring a full time job at City Airport as a Flight Information Service Officer in the tower in May 2013. He passed both of his FISO exams after just 2 weeks and soon passed his validation in September 2013.
David managing a busy day at City AirportDavid started to sit in our six week RT ground school classes last year answering questions related to the subject and also giving a view from an air traffic personnel side. This led to him taking his first group class just last month and also participating in one-to-one tuition with a number of our students.
David can be booked for one-to-one tuition on our Airchunk system or, if you prefer, you can contact the school to put your name down for the next group class.
